I had a Jeep fall on my hand between a jackstand and got it good. It crushed my hand, broke my thumb and left a 3"Lx1/4"W gash. Few stictches tonight and tomorrow to the hand specialist for the re-setting(brakingagain)(OUCH) and possible cast. old me the way it's broke so close to the gash that if it doesn't get settled tomorrow that I have a possibility of getting rid of my thumb, which I really don't want to do. The said no bike, atv, work and everythng I told them I like to do with my spare time. I kinda hope I get a cast so I can get going again. It hurts like a (The definition of cursing is when “A feeble mind tries to express itself forcefully.” Human beings do not have feeble minds. Every time somebody curses, they are stunting their own mental development.). Morphine didn't do anything. I was going to make a left hand thumb throttle or something along those lines. The kit is like $100 but I'm not paying that. Anybody have any other ideas besides a thumber or tricks to do it. I was just going to rig one up for awhile nothing permenant. Maybe even a mini lever with a perch, who knows untill I get the scrap parts out. If you have done it, post a pic.

wow, dude. sorry to hear about that. just reading this almost made me nauseous. i couldnt imagine. looks like some one has worse luck than me for once. i had a car wreck me on my bike last saturday. i got alittle messed up but nothing too serious. the only thing i ever seen about a left hand throttle was on tv. a guy lost his right arm in a motorcycle crash and modified his motorcycle so he could operate his brakes and clutch and throttle all with his one left hand. im not sure how he did it but it was neat. good luck man. hate to hear when stuff like this happens to people.
