as far as rocky conditions goes. i have tried a little low, 4psi or so, and then a little higher, about 5psi. more seemed to do the trick, had more bite and i did not feel like i was going to pop a tire every couple of minutes. what is the general consensuses on this. more for rocky terrain?

i run about 7-8lbs in the rears and about 5-7 in the fronts. it works for me.

5psi is about right for my riding, not to hard but soft enough to withstand punctures. If I know I'm going to be on train tacks I run 3psi because of all the sharp rocks and spikes. One time with 3psi I was in a trail and hit a lod with the sidewall and loosen up the bead and lost a little air but it popped back on.
