I have a 07 z400 and it has holeshots on it all the way around. To my suprise, i hate them, or at least the rear ones. All they seem to do is spin when im in grass or anything besides pavement when i give it throttle. Also, they are wearing pretty quickly when I ride on the road but even when they were brand new they spinned a lot in the grass even if it was dry. Well what im going at is does anyone know of any tires that work good on a z400 that give it good traction offroad and do not wear out quickly when ridden on the street. I have been looking into rzr2's. Oh and i forgot to mention, the front tires still have a lot of tread left and work fine.

Thanks for the susgestions.

any off-road tire that you buy is gonna wear out a lot quicker on the road as it would on the trails. so you're not gonna find an atv tire thats good on the road and perform nicely on the trails or the track.

ya i know they wear out faster on the road but you can slim down the quickness in which they do wear down. One factor that deals with that is how soft the tire is. I used to have a yamaha blaster with these knock off rzr's on the back and it seemed like they never wore down at all even on the road and I dont care how they perform the track i mostly just care about which give me the best traction on the trails but not wearing down on the road is just a bonus i would like to have.

Atv's aren't meant to be driven on the street. Buy DOT approved tires if you want them to last on the street.

I have Razr's on mine they are great lotsof grip in the dirt, sand, and grass I ride trails alot and street wheelie here and there, get the 6-ply in stead of the 4-ply if you want them to last a little longer in the street.
