I am trying to order new sprockets and a chain for my 2004 LT-Z400 LE and have no clue what to get or the size chain needed. I am running a 13(T) and a 40(T) sprockets and need to know what size chain and brand I should order. I have heard from other post that say both a 520x96 or a 520x112 so this is why I am confused. Anyone running a 13(T) and 40(T) set-up like me know what is the right chain size???

Thanks for your help

count the number of links on your stock chain. 96 links should be enough for a 13/40 gearing. so go with the 520x96

Yep, 520x96 is all you need.
